Japanese Vehicle Advertising Company to Enter Cambodian Market

In a collaboration with the Japanese recycling firm ReNet Japan Group Inc, Flare (Thailand) Co Ltd, a Japanese-owned vehicle advertising start-up, is slated to expand operations to Cambodia within February 2020.

Flare (Thailand) Co Ltd operates by placing advertisements on private vehicles before using GPS technology to determine the amount payable to drivers, which is in turn based on the distance and duration of their journeys. Through its services, the company hopes that it can empower drivers with a supplemental source of income, whilst maintaining the ability to monitor traffic conditions.
