BIG Participate in Geotalk 2020

An international geography olympiad titled OLGENAS International Geolympiad XV was held on January 13-17, 2020 at Gadjah Mada University (UGM). The theme for this year was ‘Welcoming E-Sphere: A New Way of Thinking Spatially’.
It had a series of activities planned for the students to take part in. One of them was geotalk and the keynote speaker was BIG Thematic Geospatial Information Deputy Antonius Bambang Wijanarto.
During the talk, Anton highlighted that, “we need to increase the level of public education to balance the development of geospatial information technology. Because, it’s useless to have advanced technology if people do not understand how to access and use it”.
